About Us

Established in 2007, Black Swan Financial Management is an independent financial adviser authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Based in Ascot, Berkshire the firm welcomes clients from Sunninghill, Sunningdale, Windsor, Windlesham and surrounding areas.

We provide financial advice to private and corporate clients with the aim of helping them meet their financial aspirations and objectives. Because we’re independent and unbiased we always act in our clients’ best interests, and not those of a product provider, be it an ISA, Investment, Pension, Income Drawdown or Insurance Contract.

The inspiration for the firm’s name comes from the book ‘Fooled by Randomness, The Role of Chance in Life and in the Markets'. Written by highly acclaimed author Nassim Taleb, the book uses the discovery of black swans as a metaphor for risk and unexpected events. Through our financial planning approach, we seek to reduce the impact a black swan event could have on our clients financial ambitions.

2021 Investment Portfolio Review
